16 Feb METALUBE Senior Development Chemist Receives Industry Nomination
Leading lubricant manufacturer METALUBE, is delighted to announce that its Senior Development Chemist of High-Temperature Applications, Emma Pates, is a finalist for the Chemicals Northwest Young talent in the chemical industry award 2023. The award is being announced at the Chemicals Northwest Annual Awards Dinner at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
Chris Nettleship, Technical Director, Metalube says: “Since joining us in 2021 Emma has proven to be indispensable within the team. She is highly deserving of this prestigious nomination. Last year Emma represented the company at the European Wood-Based Panel Symposium in Hamburg where she was invited to present a paper on wood panel press lubricants, the feedback from the industry was highly complementary.”
Emma has been working in the lubricant industry for seven years, in 2016 she gained First Class Masters of Chemistry from the University of Liverpool.
