How SCG Maximises Production Efficiency

SCG has been expertly designed to maximise production efficiency ensuring your operations run smooth, fast and more reliably than ever before.

Each blocking compound in our SCG range of products has unique combination of synthetic polymers, rheology control additives and fillers delivers a highly adhesive, semi-conductive compound that effectively fills the interstices between wires to
prevent the ingress and longitudinal migration of water.

The controlled viscosity and improved flow at moderate application
temperature results in consistent, even coating and therefore complete filling of the interstices – vital
to achieving the desired water blocking performance.

The low glass transition temperature polymer base of SCG 11-300 is highly adhesive and flexible ensuring that the compound will not crack during cabling handling, laying or operation. SCG 11-300 is also fully compatible with semi-conductive shield materials such as XLPE.
